National Parks Near and Far

One of the retirement goals of our presenters Cleo and Steve D’Arcy has been to visit every U.S. National Park. They have visited 59 of the 60 parks in the country. In this talk, they will share some of the knowledge and joy that these parks have given them. The talk (with pictures!) will focus on two parks that are relatively close to Massachusetts and two that are quite far away. They will provide some practical information about visiting each park and will discuss the park’s history and culture, and significant geological and biological features. Their goal is to make participants excited to go “parking,” either in person or from their comfy armchairs.
